Its a long story but in short you will get something similar to what you ordered but probably more damaged than promised and missing, damaged, and incorrect parts. Just save yourself some time and buy new. It's not worth the hassel.

I received the AC unit in three days which was fine but when I opened the box, that's where it all went down the drain. The drain spout on the back of the unit was broken off flush with the unit. Since the broken off spout was not in the box, I knew that this happened before it was boxed up. I had to use flex glue to install a metal tube into the open hole to make my own drain spout. The panel for my window to use to vent the exhaust from the unit out of the house was broken in half. Once again I had to rig something up to use the panel. The unit came with a remote control, but it wasn't the one for my unit. It was a completely different brand remote control than the unit. The unit is also very loud. Sounds like the fan is struggling. Oh well, you live and learn!

there were installation pieces missing. I called Danby and they are sending new parts-IN EIGHT TO TEN WEEKS, VERY UNHAPPY WITH THE PRODUCT.
customer service at Danby said this was an older product and would take longer to get parts.

Had to make several attempts to enter an email. Despite the fact my computer automatically enters this field ? I dont know ?

It was a quick and easy transaction. However, my product has a right handle that is smashed in and a triangle hole above the right handle that measures 1" on all 3 sides. I looked in the box but didn't see the missing piece. Although the unit seems to operate properly I was expecting a better quality. I attempted to call you early Friday afternoon but the voice mail said your office was closed. I would really like an explanation. Thanks

I wanted to re-rate 3gorillas because of the after-purchase service I received. I purchased a refurbished Danby portable AC for my warm 2nd floor rooms. It arrived after about 5 days with a broken vent assembly, but they sent me a new one. Very happy with how they handled the issue. The unit had scratches and scuffs, but this was addressed in the item description. The unit itself can make a sunless room very cold, but it takes a long while to affect multiple rooms. Overall though, I am very pleased. Thanks

Every thing was great but. including instructions would have been helpful. I needed help with the set up and your people could not provide answers.

The ordering process was easy but I would look up the product and it would be in stock but then my friend would look up the same product and it would be out of stock.

Tried 3 times to buy the loft. Finally realized I had to tap on "free" shipping before it took my order. It was never highlighted, so I kept missing it.

the overall process was easy but when it said about picking up in new holland there was no bypass for that I had to put a shipping address in and that didn't make sense since I was picking it up or hope to.

Easy to find what I was looking for at a great price, hopefully lives up to expectations on arrival.

Overall, pretty good. However, when I went to checkout, it lost the item that was in my cart so it showed a total cost of $0.00. I had to renter the item into the cart and then complete the checkout information over again. However, once my order was entered, everything went smoothely and I was very satisfied with the prompt delivery of my order.

Easy to navigate the site. Would have liked to see the bucket capacity on the dehumidifiers. But, there was enough information for me to decide.
