Two sharp lenses to fill out my Fuji kits. Great build quality, both very sharp. The 80 mm is a great macro lens with OIS and close focus. You'll be amazed at what you can do shooting the tiny elements in the garden or back yard. The 50 mm, with an equivalent full frame focal length of 75 mm, passes for a small, sturdy portrait lens and fits in any camera bag. As usual, Adorama bundled these lenses, giving me for free the filters and cleaning packs I normally would have had to pay extra for. Five stars all the way!

Slow shipping, took almost 2 weeks. Awful packaging, ripped box right through the "handle carefully" message. This was a piano so you can understand my concern. Thankfully it appears to be working but this is just an unacceptable lack of care.

Slow shipping, took almost 2 weeks. Awful packaging, ripped box right through the "handle carefully" message. This was a piano so you can understand my concern. Thankfully it appears to be working but this is just an unacceptable lack of care.

I did two reviews on this site for something I bought from them. Both reviews were 5 stars BUT I pointed out a very important negative aspect of the product that potential buyers should know about and they did not publish either review. I actually wrote customer service about this and they responded and said Sorry, must have been an error somewhere. There was no error I saw and even had pictures attached. The process went all the way through both times and yet neither one posted. I know this too by the fact that there are more recent reviews on their site than when I posted. Anyway, I think this practice is shameful and I will never but from them again.

It takes customer service 2-3 days to respond to my messages. Not only that, but they gave me the wrong tracking number and said my package won't be shipped until after Christmas even though I'm my initial message I prefaced it with, I need this by Christmas. I then took out a credit card to pay for this from this company, still working on trying to get a refund or product so my wife can have a Christmas present...

I ordered a Pelican case from here online, first of all an order that was placed with "expediated shipping", was sent by UPS GROUND! Took 10 days for me to get it instead of 1-3 business days.
Secondly, they send me the WRONG part! The Pelican box was missing the foams inside (as explicitly mentioned on the order details)!
I will never buy anything from them again and DO NOT RECOMMEND..

Tip for consumers:
If you're in a rush or time is the essence for you, forget Adorama.. You need at least 10 days to get the part and another 7 days as they likely will ship you wrong part or something missing that you have to follow up to get fixed.

WARNING, WARNING! Very sorry to say that I ordered over $10,000 worth of photography equipment from Adorama's eBay Store front and they refused to issue reward points. Polly P. (Adorama Customer Service) stated the their Adorama eBay Store was a third party, not eligible for any reward points from the Company. Not a good way to treat their costumers to say the least!

I spent almost three thousand dollars on a camera that never arrived. I contacted customer service they informed me they would have to contact the shipper and start a claim. I was told once claim was I approved I would receive a refund or replacement. The claim was approved and I have not received a refund or replacement. They have not responded to emails. When I contact customer service they say someone will call me back which never happened. Do not shop here total scam. Stole money from both me and the shipper.

More than just a let down I feel ripped off 2020 and times are hard so when a non-working self-employed business owner pays $318 for a product for an upcoming gig only yo not get the item and a poor cs reply and more days of just waiting even with a refund now the item is sold out everyplace and no it, not the USPS this is an item that just never made it out their warehouse

These guys can't even send you a new undamaged 249.00 item. Dealing with them is not easy either. If I could give them a -0 I would. Take your money elsewhere.

Placed order 01-17-2020. Received UPS pkg with slide only. Immediately contacted customer service to notify that gimball was not delivered. Roxanne noted that weight of UPS pkg did not match weight it should have been, if both items were shipped. She was contacting warehouse to find missing gimbal. Every time I call they are still waiting to talk to Shipping manager. Frustrated by the run around! Ship me the gimbal asap or give me a prepaid pkg to return the slide, and give me a full refund. Horrible customer service!

Took very long to talk to customer service, and was told I could expect an email within a few days. Nothing heppened. Didn't recieve the partial refund as promised. No email at all.

When you buy online, you dont know what you always get. The item was way more bulky than expected. Here is the problem. It did cost me $50 to ship it back to Adorama. They dont even provide you a shipping label, they could because they have preferred rates with UPS or Fedex but they dont. I called their CS twice... End of the story. DO NOT buy from a store that do NOT offer free returns OR at least provides you a return shipping label at a discounted cost... $50 out

Very unsatisfactory and a nightmare of an experience. Would not recommend company or purchase anything from company again. Poor customer service and lack of truthful communication with customer on progress of claim. Purchased a camera and received a camera box with the camera missing. Reported immediately and took videos and pictures of package received. Customer service was called almost daily and the generic response of "we will contact you in 1-2 business days" was received but they did not call or attempt to contact customer back. The customer went to adorama in New York to address concerns and had to wait over 6 hours in lobby with no resolution. Customer had to wait Over 2 months before a refund and resolution was received. Customer had to get their bank involved and after the bank mentioned possible legal proceedings, a refund was made promptly. Customer had to pay $120 in shipping for this ordeal.

I recently ordered from Adorama for the very first time. I have been looking for another reliable company to do give business to as I make 2-3 camea related orders a month. Long story short, I ordered a lens from them and a few other accessories. Everything went well except for the lens had some sort of damage on the rear element affecting image and video quality. They sent me a packing slip to exchange, however this is where it gets bad. I have to wait a few days for Adorama to receive the package, then I have to wait around 3 days for them to process the exchange and then I have to wait however many days the shipping takes. I needed this lens for a client in 2 DAYS from today, which is why I ordered much earlier in the week. I am going along with the exchange because I can make great use of the lens I ordered, however I have to now go rent this exact lens so that I can use it for my client in 2 days. First and last order from me. I simply can not take the risk of receiving another defective item and then waiting around a week for the entire return/exchange process. Any other times this has happened for me (twice in 6 years), the retailer simply sent out the item I ordered immediately as we both agreed that I would be charged again had they not received the defective item within a given time frame.

I purchased an entire light kit for my camera. I received the boxes opened and damaged and only received part of my purchase not all the items. I've contacted Adorama and have all the emails. The customer service has not been helpful at all. I'm tired of going back and fourth and they are not listening to my emails and now telling me to wait 10 more days for investigation after I've already waited like 20 days!

My GF ordered a piece of music software from these people, and instead of getting a straightforward DOWNLOAD, for 2 weeks I've had to correspond via email, just to have them act like I'm speaking Greek. Sure, she saved $40, but the aggrevation is $10,000 worth. STAY AWAY!

Tip for consumers:
Avoid at all costs. You get what you pay for. Save a couple bucks, enjoy the stress.

I initially bought a set of speakers from Adorama, and when they got here, they didn't function as intended. Sent back, and had to fight to get a refund. Tried again with a different set of speakers and they arrived with missing components. And then the subwoofer that I had ordered was delayed by at least 3 weeks. Ridiculous. Pass

Adorama posted a deal on a FLIR thermal monocular at 70% off retail. I placed my order and paid for 2 day UPS shipping. I am on a forum along with MULTIPLE other people who also placed the same order. After less than one day the sale was taken off, and the item was showing in stock back at the original MSRP. Once the orders started arriving, EVERY SINGLE ONE was reported to be opened, used, and completely defective. Some with old photos on them, some with missing components and batteries, some covered in mud, etc, but all of them were completely defective. Confirmed by FLIR themselves. Not one new item showed up. It is painfully clear to anyone looking, that Adorama had a bunch of used, defective, non-working units and priced them at a wildly discounted price point and marketed them as new. Then sold units that they knew were junk without disclosing it to the buyers. In this day and age, that's not only the worst possible business practice I can think of, it's entirely illegal. After contacting Adorama customer service and speaking with manager Jessie M, they have promised to overnight me a brand new unopened item of the same model, once UPS confirms receipt of my returned defective item. They also sent an email stating the specifics of that conversation so that I have it in writing. The new item showed up in the same used/defective condition. The sheer audacity of such a fraudulent business practice should be exposed to the public. I have screenshots, pictures, emails and prove of all of the above, which I have included with this complaint. Including the mass amount of other people who had the exact same experience.

Beware! I am in the middle of the worst customer support experience of my life. I will never, ever, ever purchase another product from Adorama and will actively steer other customers away from them. I've never said that about any other company in my life. Companies like B&H Photo and Sweetwater can get you the same thing, at the same price, usually in the same time, and their team actually cares about you as a customer. Adorama does not. They just want your money and then they want you to go away.

Adorama may be a generally respected vendor, and everything may be fine when they get the order right, but their customer care is an absolute nightmare. Over the course of the last week, I have dealt with at least 8 different customer care associates through exactly 44 emails (so far), multiple chats, and my initial phone call. They simply do not care about me as a customer enough to fix THEIR ERROR in a timely manner.

It's not a complicated issue. I purchased a Clearsonic drum lid kit that was supposed to come with 6 pieces. Two of those pieces did not arrive. All they have to do is either locate the missing box and send it or refund me for the value of the missing items ($190). That's it. But for an entire week, I have been getting emails telling me that they are trying to get hold of their warehouse, but are getting no response. It's constantly, "Please give us 1-2 business days". Well, it's been a week at this point. I keep getting passed off from one person to another. They can't simply contact their warehouse and locate the box. Or, it's not that they can't, it's that they don't care to.

It has become clear to me that this is a greedy company that does not care at all about their customers after the sale. Their customer support department has been outsourced to another country, so the associates have no investment in the company or motivation to truly help. They have no interest in resolving my problem, but it seems they plan to just sit around and try to wait me out until I give up. That's not going to happen.

Unfortunately, they have me at a disadvantage because I can neither make them contact the warehouse nor make them refund the value of the missing items. I just have to sit here and wait on them…

Do not, do not, do not purchase from Adorama unless you really enjoy ending up in "Customer Care" sinkholes like the one I am in at the moment.

Company was super anxious to send me call tags for 7 big cases of old photography equipment. They made it sound like they would look the wide variety of vintage equipment I sent them. Some cool old stuff some not. They contacted me and said they couldn't use anything. I had moved and couldn't take it back. They said they would give it to a school or something I said fine please send me a charitible receipt for taxes and they said no. So all gone and nothing to show. I would go with better business rating.

I ordered a camera strap from Adorama. The pricing and communication throughout the whole process was great. With this order, UPS SurePost service was used which is a hand off from UPS to USPS. The drawback is that USPS does not update their shipping info in a timely manner. The shipping time was just as described but USPS made me wonder for a day if the package might be lost. This is not Adorama's fault. The camera neck strap is great!

This review is for international customers only, while they do have a huge selection with reasonable prices, their customer service and shipping services for international customers is outright horrible.
I had ordered some equipment for the office a few weeks ago, they shipped it to the wrong place, by that i mean they shipped it to another country altogether. Now after 1 month of haggling with their less than competent customer service reps, they are offering to recall the shipment back to its origin but they want to charge me for shipping and "other expenses" incurred to them. I find that completely unreasonable and i am planning to forward the case to consumer protection. I sincerely hope nobody has to go through such unpleasantness.

Dealing with Adorama has been a nightmare. I decided I was going to purchase a brand new camera and lens using the student discount, which in total made the order roughly $2000. Being a college student, this was a very significant amount of money (it is either way) so I was a little hesitant to make the purchase. I had also decided to purchase a warranty that would cover $2000 dollars worth of camera bodies and lenses, which was very convenient as both the body and lens would be covered. I placed the order in mid-December of last year, and with the shipping, it was expect to arrive within 3 business days. The warranty was digital so it arrived immediately and covered both the body and the lens I had just purchased. I checked the tracking number every day, but there was no indication that the package had even been received by the carrier. I contacted Adorama multiple times to ask about this, but their response was to be patient and check the tracking number every day. 5 days passed and there still had not been any new updates to the shipping, so I contacted an Adorama service rep for about the 3rd time. They claimed that the package had most likely been lost in the mail (doubtful as the carrier would have scanned it as soon as it was received) and said that they would send a replacement. I was already very frustrated because I was expecting it to arrive before a trip I was going to take, but that opportunity had passed. After placing the replacement order I was checking the shipping information daily again. This package had been delayed AGAIN as it was not given to the carrier in a timely manner. I was furious, however I was not as mad as my own mother. She knew that I had worked very hard to save up for this and when I was being treated so poorly by Adorama customer service (they were indifferent and daft), so she had gotten on the phone with a representative and demanded that the replacement be shipped overnight and that I receive some kind of compensation for the trouble. They agreed to ship the camera overnight after nearly an hour and a half on the phone, as well as issuing a $50 refund, which I was very surprised by. I do not think that it made up for the inconvenience they caused, but at least it was something. Also, in order for them to send the second replacement, they required me to pay another $2000 and they would just cancel the original order rather than just modify the shipping on the existing order. They didn't issue the refund for the original order until WEEKS after, which had me very very worried. The camera arrived after the THIRD attempt, which was a relief. The lens and camera were under warranty, which also was relieving. But it was too good to be true. About a month after receiving the camera (which is around 1.5 months after placing the original order) the warranty from the original order was canceled and refunded out of the blue. I had NEVER told anyone to cancel or refund the warranty, so I cannot imagine why it was stopped. I had contacted customer service reps many many many times to try to figure this out, and they were absolutely horrible. One of them accused me of sending a return with an empty box, and then just left the chat! She was threatening me and accusing me of fraud. I called one of their reps on the phone named Roxanne. She said that all I had to do was place an order for a new warranty, and everything would be taken care of. I placed the order, and I waited. Nothing happened for a few days, so I called her back. She said that she would take care of it and that she would follow up with me within a day. Another 3 days passed so I called again. She said she would call me back by the end of the day, but never did. This went on about 2 or 3 more times, and then I told her that if she could not figure the issue out by the end of the week, I would want a refund for the warranty. The end of the week came and I had no refund. I had emailed and called her asking to respond or for some kind of update, but she was totally silent. This is the worst customer service I have ever experience in my life from any company. I beg you to use B&H instead for whatever you need and to avoid these people at all costs. Their customer service is utterly incompetent and does not care about you one bit.

Tip for consumers:
PLEASE do not use Adorama. If you encounter any kind of issue it will be a NIGHTMARE to work with customer service.
