Absolutely terrible experience. Had this new range ordered in advance for delivery, got confirmation of appointment, all set. On the day of delivery they cancelled the appointment, didnt call/no notification, when i called back, i spend 2 hours trying to figure out and the best solution they could offer was to reschedule in 2 weeks time! Wtf. I removed my existing range to make way for the new one and now i have nothing... This has been an absolutely disappointing and frustrating experience.

Don't bother with best buy. They will give you the run around. Their website is defunct. It will send your item to a wrong addresses even when specifically telling it where to ship

And to boot they're un-compassionate, outsourced service will waste your precious time and fill it with lies and canned responses. And will be off absolutely no help at all.

Consider purchasing else where.

Update: After speaking with numerous employees and supervisors from other countries about my refund that is nowhere to be found even though I returned an item unopened the same day I received it, they have changed their stories at least 5 times. Now, they say it will take 1 billing cycle to receive my money, so I will have to wait about 6 weeks to be refunded. DO NOT return BestBuy items by UPS. Instead, Buy from Amazon.

I ordered a modem from BestBuy.com and before it arrived, tried to stop delivery (but couldn't) because I found a far better modem on Amazon. Unlike Amazon, BestBuy.com makes returns EXTREMELY difficult and getting your money back takes over a week. Amazon on within hours of shipping. Even though it was unopened, BestBuy needs a week to "process" my return. Amazon is going to put BestBuy out of on-line business, and rightly so. And, what's with a 15-day window instead of 30? Update: I am still trying to get my refund 10 days after sending it back. Now they tell me it may be more15 days. HORRIBLE. Compare that to Amazon, where today I received a $370 refund the moment the UPS driver picked it up. Amazon is SO MUCH BETTER than BestBuy for mail order it's not even measurable.

Dont ever buy on line. TERRIBLE. Bought a T. V. package promotion $2720. Scheduled home delivery for a week later due to my being out of state. They send a order confirmation but with 3 different deliveries being sent by UPS within two days. Thus expensive electrical products left outside for 5 days. They would not change delivery date or allow pick up in store even though they hadn't even had a UPS tracking number yet and the order was still being processed.

My items were delivered to the wrong address and yet they want me to call local authorities to get a STOLEN item. The item was not stolen, I have proof it was delivered to the wrong address. I have coordinated with their customer service but the experience was horrible. Why would I call local authorities for the wrong delivery? Worst they keep insisting to call local authorities. I have provided proof but they won't accept it and insisted it was stolen.

Like an idiot I went against my own policy and used my credit card without paypal but also to buy a high priced item. They cancelled my order almost as fast as they stole my money and NEVER refunded me. Expensive lesson to learn that A: never buy expensive items on the internet, B: Never shop without paypal and C: Never buy anything form best buy. I knew better and did it anyway. Back to following my policies

Don't shop at best buy and don't use your credit card without paypal.

I am so disappointed with Best Buy I will probably never shop there again! They sell customers Geek Squad protection that does nothing. It can't be used with the product is under warranty so we have to wait for the warranty to run out. Why do you sell it to us during that time period then?!? We are double covered with a useless waste of money. AND they don't sell the coverage we really need! This is in reference to a recent TV purchase. Now, I'm stuck paying for an item that doesn't work. Watch out for those "protection Plans"!

On 1 Feb, I wanted to make a purchase of seasons 2,3&4 of The Last Man on Earth for My Husband. He is Deaf. He enjoyed watching series one, which had closed captions, English Subtitles. Before making my online purchase I went to Bestbuy's on line helpline and did a live chat with their agent. I asked her specifically if the three seasons had CC, s. After investigating she came back online and said " Definitely YES" So I ordered them and a friend of mine in California had them shipped to Australia. They arrived yesterday... and... guess what... they do not have subtitles. Can you imagine my Husband's disappointment. I emailed Bestbuy and did a live chat, so unhelpful. The original enquiry agent gave me incorrect information on a purchase of $140. So incompetent, but, Oh yes, they got a sale. Well... Bestbuy... GOODBYE.

Do not take the agents advice at face value.

Very disappointed with the delivery policy. We have waited for our fridge delivery for about two weeks. Morning of delivery, it's cancelled. Driver says he will contact us and has the fridge on his truck for next day or so; okay.

Best Buy emails me later to reschedule appointment and it's another two weeks out. I called to see if we could get sooner, but nope. Their system won't allow it (uh huh).

This is the second time this has happened to us with delivery and it feels like they truly don't care. I realize worse things are going on in the world, but it stinks to be without a reliable fridge for four weeks, so I'm upset. Best Buy doesn't care though, so if you're looking for a better customer experience when things go awry, don't shop here.

Tip for consumers:
It would be nice to know that their unreliable delivery would result in another two or three week wait for a major appliance.

This is probably worst customer experience I can imagine. They put me on hold three different times for about an hour until eventually they just hung up. My tv was supposed to be delivered over an hour ago. Trying to check the order status online was not helpful either. Terrible UI and experience. What a joke of a company.

Hello All,

Best Buy will price match. They will do so for several other major retailers. They will not with internet only like Amazon. It is very important to match the item you are BUYING to the item that is in the ADD. If there are any even slight modifications they will not do it. For instance I wanted and purchased an HP with a backlit keyboard. The ADD did not have the backlit keyboard so they would not match the price I wanted them to. In this case I ended up going to another store to buy my item. Best Buy does not mention price match so you have to ask for it. Good luck and let me know how it goes!

I had a great distaste for Best Buy due to many negative experiences. Recently I begrudgingly went back to Best Buy to look at 4k TV's. I found the experience to be very enlightening. The sales staff was very helpful and knowledgeable. I am not kidding this truly was a great experience. So much so that Best Buy has become the store I Once believed it should have been.

Since then, I have gone back multiple times for other products. There rewards program is "ok". Although they do step you up a level once you start to buy more product. They send you $40.00 off certificates etc. They have a fairly extensive relationship with Magnolia as well. The Magnolia sales person actually delivered my TV personally. I am giving them 5 stars now based on multiple experiences. By the way do take advantage of their price matching program. There are significant discounts to be had there.

Do not order anything on best buy for home delivery!

I ordered a fridge 2 weeks ago for delivery a week ago. I've had my delivery rescheduled 5 times. Now when I try to reschedule on the website, it doesn't give me any days before September.

Also, their chat and phone wait times are over an hour. If I knew this, I would have bought a fridge somewhere else. I will never shop at best buy again.

I dropped off an AV receiver for repair on 10/21/21 at the Happy Valley AZ store. 2 weeks later-no word. I called the "store number". All phone numbers go to a national call center. I got to a Geek Squad agent in about 10 minutes. The agent put me on hold to look for my order. He never came back! I hung up after 20 min. I called the national number, again, stating that I wanted to lodge a complaint. After a brief hold, the agent connected me to BestBuy HR department. It was evident from the phone tree - no access to customers - how little regard for the customer exists within their entire company. I would stop watching television and listening to music if Best Buy was the only store to sell the equipment. Good bye, Best Buy. Hello, Crutchfield.

After rescheduling my delivery appointment almost a month ago, 9 minutes into my new scheduled 12 to 6 delivery window, someone called to say that they were too busy to deliver my appliances. This is absolutely ridiculous and unacceptable. We're currently on hold to speak to a customer service representative on two phones. One to discuss this and one to cancel our month old order.

I bought an Amanda dishwasher in September 2020 from Best Buy With a 5 yr warranty. Total was $500.85 It leaves dishes soak and wet, never dries or gets hot enough to clean well. Went to the store, offered to buy the $1200. Top of the line one but they refused to take back the lemon so I am stuck with a piece of junk that needs to be put in the alley. Repair man came twice and said there is nothing wrong with the washer, it's just the way it performs. Thing is all made of plastic so it will never get hot enough. Sharp plastic on inside top door. I Will Never Shop at BB as long as I live. I told my friends and family to never shop there because there is no lemon law at that store.

Tip for consumers:
Be careful what you buy at Best Buy because if it's a lemon product you are STUCK with it. The first year you must go through the manufactures warranty. After that you must deal with the store warranty for " like me 5 years" I didn't want a refund just offered to upgrade the washer by double the $ so they and myself wouldn't take a lose. Bottom line, it's a piece of junk, I'm out $500.85, offered to buy a $1200. One if they would take the lemon back, they refused, so never again.

Very disappointed. As u can see item is marked this price but at register it comes up 69.00. Now these items are all behind ticket black and white sets about 10 boxes behind this price actually there are no items next to it for 69.00. Why when I get to register price changed? Oh they have not updated there tickets. Not fair to me that's price you are advertising what do I get instead... I get a manager who is rude and rather argue with me and make excuses up. Really this is how u handle customers do u not have any customer service. If you do not want customers upset then don't advertise false and don't argue with them

Geek Squad is the worst. They are incredibly slow. Nobody knows what anyone else is saying or doing. They lie. They tell you one price one day and double it the next. You can't speak to a supervisor. No one returns your call as promised. The web site is useless. If you go in a store, most employees are just standing around.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER-I literally called 27 times, and got either hung up on, got nowhere, or was put on hold for over 2 hours. I can't imagine how a big company like BestBuy cannot handle a simple customer call for an item return! I regret the hour I purchased something from them. You are better off going elsewhere where they value customers and their time.

Not enough room to post all of what happened. I bought a refrigerator open box. I didn't care if it had a scratch on the side, but you think someone would have plugged it in to see if at least the lights come on before they delivered it! It was completely dead on delivery. It is now 18 days since they picked up the dead fridge and I have not yet been reimbursed. Yesterday I went to the store and no one would help me except to say a check was mailed 13 days ago. MAILED! Why not credit the credit card I used? If your mail is like mine you know how "secure" my reimbursement check is. This is just the highlight. There were many other bad customer service issues.

Tip for consumers:
Go somewhere else. I eventually got what I needed at Lowes and it was delivered the next day

Best Buy advertises amazing deals on product that is not in stock. They say free shipping however, they truly do not deliver on that offer. Pun intended. They offer no resolution to an advertised item that has ceased to exist. They refuse to offer a comparable item at the sale cost they advertised. All in all they are the worst in customer satisfaction in my home.

Tip for consumers:
Go to Costco or Target.

Tried to buy some items on the Best Buy website, I put them into my cart, went back to shop for one more item and the prices in the cart changed to original prices. They gave no notification, no deadline of time for the sale, nothing. I called customer service and they said there is nothing they can do about the price change, and wouldn't honor the price. I won't be purchasing anything else from Best Buy, they have become Worst Buy, they probably should change their Logo.

They are the worse! They do not delivery what they promise, when they install they do it wrong, they reschedule time and time again, they don't know what they are doing. Unprofessional. If I could give them a rating less than 1, I would! -20 stars is what they deserve. We will never buy from them again, and I will definitely express this to all of my family, friends, business associates, collogues, and acquaintances.

I would write a letter to your state's attorney general. There are laws regarding taking advantage of senior citizens. I would specifically ask for documentation from Best Buy in which your grandmother gave them permission to recycle her 18 month old computer. If they cannot produce that document they may be in very big trouble with the state's attorney general. I would also write the BBB and contact your public officials. This I think would be paramount to theft if your grandmother did not give them permission to recycle her computer. On the flip side of things, ASUS is a very good machine. My son is a computer scientist and swears by ASUS. I have three ASUS machines one of which is over 5 years old and it is a workhorse. Unless something significant happens in the ASUS business world, I will continue to buy ASUS!
