I've been buying from them for 40 years and never once had a problem that was not solved instantly and to my complete satisfaction. I only wish B&H would start a training course for other industry leading businesses to learn how it's done so maybe the bar would be raised in the cell phone service, health care insurance and cable TV industries? Hahaha B&H rocks.

“Checkout is painful”

What's the deal with the checkout process? I keep having to go back and review address or cart before I get an active "place order" button. I often find myself in a loop of verifying address/payment method/review order until I can finally place the order. "Calculating taxes and duties" also never seems to resolve. This website is buggy. Using Brave browser with shields down. Brave is Chrome based.

Over years of ordering from B&H the one consistent trait is outstanding Customer Service with a pool of knowledgeable staff who can answer the most technical of questions. Pricing is always competitive and their vast Used Camera Equipment section is like finding treasure when trying to find top shelf equipment at a great price with realistic condition reports. I would recommend B&H as the first stop any Photographer/Videographer make when looking for the best kit, backed by the best staff in the business.

BH will not cancel our order that went out of stock. I was forced to wait till item becomes available. Now that the item was available and shipped, it's taken more than 2 weeks. It's still under shipment. I still haven't received item while writing this review.
We spend thousands of dollars every year upgrading our equipment. Now I know where NOT to go.

Thank you for your order and this feedback. We regret your dissatisfaction. There are very few items which include a no-cancellation policy. Unfortunately the DJI N3 Flight Controller is one. Our online product page is clear and unambiguous and says, "Special Order. Expected availability: 4-6 weeks. Important Notice: This item is noncancelable and nonreturnable."

Despite this we did ask our supplier about an exception, a request the supplier declined. It has been shipped and FedEx says the ETA is 06/14.21. -- Henry Posner / B&H Photo-Video

In the store or online, they have a great selection and knowledgeable sales staff. Recently there have been a lot of stock/backorder issues but I can't fault them for that. At least they alert when it's available. I was also very happy with their credit through Synchrony Bank. Recently it changed to Payboo so I hope the level of customer service continues and they keep offering no-interest promo financing.

B&H has become my go-to spot for ordering camera and lighting equipment, but also for recent MacBook Pro purchases. Shipping is fast & free, the couple of times I've needed to call the service was great, and with the Payboo card B&H covers the tax on every order. With electronics this is significant! This probably sounds like a fake review, but I'm a filmmaker in the Chicago area and I assure you it's not! :)

I love this site! This store has got everything, and they have great prices! It's worth your while to check them out and save money on ALL your electronics needs... not just cameras. There's gadgets that I have never ever heard of, and B&H has got it.
One wish, as a Canadian shopper, is that they would list prices in Canadian dollars too. But, that's just one small wish.
Also, shipping is super fast, and always well packaged! Customer service is phenomenal.

I have used B&H Photo over the years with generally good luck, but sadly the service levels just arent what they used to be. Ive ordered items that go on backorder with no shipment, no updates. Emails to request status that are ignored. Phones that arent answered for some holiday or closure. They direct you to chat, but despite being "#1" in line 30 40 minutes without help. For this, I can use Amazon, same or lower price, and no customer service, which is all B&H Photo had going for it.

Lately, with the popularity of space sims such as Elite Dangerous and Star Citizen. HOTAS controllers are coming at a premium price. B&H Photo has been one site that I will gladly return to over and over to get fair prices on my HOTAS controllers. I have purchased 2 separate HOTAS controllers from this site and they have the best pricing around. They actually sell for MSRP which is unheard of right now. Thank you B&H for not price gouging the consumer!

I'm in the middle of replacing some of my older photography gear with more modern equipment. I have found everything I need at B&H, and, with the payboo card, I don't pay sales tax. And shipping is free. Unlike Amazon, you can find answers to common questions, and either do an online char, or call to get help if you don't know what works with what, plus, with the payboo card, you don't pay sales tax -- they do! So far, I am very pleased with my purchases.

Do NOT buy anything from B&H unless you are 100% certain that the item you've selected won't need to be returned or exchanged. I purchased a battery pack for my daughter's camera for Christmas but selected the wrong item. I returned it via FedEx and despite the fact that FedEx shows delivery of the item and B&H acknowledged receipt of the package, I am still waiting for a refund. B&H somehow lost the item in their shipping department (might have happened during the two weeks between receipt and when I finally asked for a status?) and has chosen to make that my problem. They signed for a package weighing 2.3 lbs but now maintain the box was received empty. They are now suggesting I check with FedEx... for what, I'm not sure. Maybe someone at FedEx stole it and delivered an empty package? Come on. B&H lost my return and have chosen to make it my problem instead of providing a simple resolution.

The B&H model for customer service appears to be to route each of my questions to a new individual, each of whom places the blame back on me by rewording the same accusatory update. They also love to tout the fact that they videotape everything in the returns department, but have denied my repeated requests to share this video evidence with me.

NEVER AGAIN. Buyer beware.

I'm a native New Yorker, and I've been going to B&H for almost 30 years. I'm a professional photographer and I've spent thousands of dollars in this store. I wish I were wealthy. I'd live in this place! So far, I've never had an issue with B&H, and I hope it stays that way. I don't see any reason why there would be, but I'm just saying. Even when I had an issue with a return, there was no problem and they solved it right away. I really only have good things to say about B&H, and I intend on shopping there. Hopefully for another 30 years, if I last that long!

I started out with mail-order camera gear from New York back in the 1980s. The Internet has changed it so much, and B&H stays up to date and ahead of the curve. They are great at carrying top-of-the-line pro products at the best prices, and their service and shipping have always been stellar for me. We are about to make a 10-day trip with a lot of photography planned, and I thought of a couple of last-minute things, and B&H had them and will get them here quickly.

It sucks. I ordered four items at one time, but they all came separately, and at different times. I was not pleased at all by this experience, and the man that I spoke to was kind of rude. I rate this experience a 0. The picture at the bottom was how it was delivered. Crappy service. It was delivered to the back of my house.

When it comes to electronic gear, I've recently been finding that B&H has far more selection than other sites I've typically used (like Amazon or Best Buy) while still offering the same benefits and service as said sites (a no-fuss returns process, helpful customer support, and so on). They also have small quality-of-life features that I've noticed other sites lack, such as allowing multiple cards to be used during payment (a feature I'm continually surprised doesn't yet exist on all the other major sites). So high marks all around for B&H.

As always, B&H web site or app makes researching, selecting, and checkout a breeze! I use the 'compare' feature to narrow my selection, then place items in 'my wish list' where I can easily move them to 'my cart' when I'm ready to purchase. As a returning customer, completing my purchase only takes a couple of clicks. Great prices, great selection, easy purchasing, free shipping. That's a winner. Five Stars!

A great experience! Consistently B&H offers the best in the selection, pricing, and service. With that combination, it only makes sense to return when the need arises. I love there daily special offering that they email, but sometimes I might love them a little too much for my budget. You can purchase without concern because if it doesn't meet your need, they will help find what will!

I signed up for the Payboo B&H credit card because I buy a lot of production equipment for my business. It has been great because I do not have to pay any sales tax on my purchases. This saves me a lot of money. B&H has fantastic deals in general, but the added tax break is lovely and brings me back to their website for all electronic needs. Today, I bought a brand new Laptop for a price that all other sites were only offering "refurbished" for the same price range. B&H is AMAZING in every way. THANK YOU!

It will allow connection to any Windows or Apple computer. The Blue tooth works flawless.
I told my son about it & ended up buying him one also. Beethoven even at 250 years never sounded better!

This review is about interface usability of the website it's not about goods and their quality.
Nice and good size of letters and indentations for easily finding and reading description of goods. All options of goods at the right place and you see all of them without any additional movements - size, color...
Recommended accessories can be see it in popups window. You don't need to open additional browser tab.
So basically no annoying things means smooth buying

Check specification and do not hesitate to find more specs on other websites

My experience with B&H online purchasing process, to include the opportunity to chat with representatives to provide additional information, are surely appreciated. The process is easy. If you have the PAYBOO card, it's additionally awesome to use and it streamline the process even further. Thus far, never experienced anything negative, and I have purchased items for the past 4 years.

100% trustworthy
Staffed by the most knowledgeable experts
Not pushing you to purchase -- they are developing long-term clients
Is 100% responsive if you have an issue or need their help
Have their own credit card with no fees and if you use it they pay your sales tax for you
Has free shipping on most items
Did I mention that I trust them 100%?

Tip for consumers:
Almost all expensive camera equipment sells for the same manufacturer suggested price no matter who you buy it from. I have been burned by Amazon and Ebay sellers, even when "Fulfilled by Amazon". B&H has real service from a real company with a real store full of real professionals ... all for the same price.

[Note: if you see someone selling new cameras from name brands like Canon for less than the MSRP avoid -- you will be burned.]

I've been shopping at B&H Photo & Video for several years; they have a huge selection of photo, video and consumer electronics. Their website is very easy to navigate and their search function works great! Their prices are very competitive and they often run sales deals on the products that people want. My orders always arrive in excellent condition; packed very well, no crushed product boxes. Their service has always been great and I will continue to buy from them for as long as they maintain these high standards.
