For moral reasons I'm one of those people who boycotts Amaz*n and haven't bought anything from them in like a decade because of their awful labor practices. Despite this, even though I think Shopbop is technically owned by Amaz*n, I can't keep myself away. Their selection is always top quality stuff, and if you wait long enough and keep checking back you can get these gorgeous designer items for a fraction of their original price as they're always having really great sales.
Extremely poor customer service. Terrible shipping courier. The tracking information hasn't been updated for 5 days. It's been 15 days but I have no idea where my package is. Think twice before you shop anything from this lousy company!

I ordered a pair of shoes that I need for a certain date so I paid for express shipping, it said they would arrive in 1-2 days but when I went to track my package it said "package is returning to seller because of customs issue" and they are now going to be coming a month later. The timing is extremely inconvenient and I don't understand why I didn't get an email or message about the delay. I also think its really stupid how you can't cancel your order and also how the customer service number doesn't work in Australia, when I tried to do a live chat it didn't work even though it was between the right times. I strongly advise to never buy from this website because it is completely unprofessional.

I received my order in 16 days, they used to ship on the same day and arrive within 3-4 days. My dress came without the matching waist belt. I contacted them, they said that it was unfortunate, there was nothing that they could do and blamed that my order might be tampered. They couldn't re-send or compensate for the missing piece. Do note that they state no refund and no exchange on sale items because some of the items have missing pieces! I have been buying from ShopBop for many years, their customer and shipping service went from 5 stars to no star. I won't be ordering from them again. Buy at your own risk!

I've been ordering from this website for years and it's good. They have a large selection, and they occasionally offer great coupon codes. It's relatively easy to return an item if it doesn't fit although I did have an issue once.
I would say that I've had better service at revolve.com so if an item is available there, I will buy it there since shipping is also quicker. But shopbop is pretty good. I'll look to see if Revolve or Nordstrom is offering the same item. If not, I'll buy it from shopbop.
The P. E NATION Game Day Jacket went on sale on Amazon for $52 less than what I paid, the day after I received the jacket.
Yet when I called ShopBop.com to ask for them to honor the sale price, they said that because I bought the jacket on Amazon, they're unable to adjust the price.
This company is owned by Amazon, so unclear why they can't honor their own sale price on Amazon.
Terrible service from Shopbop.
I bought a flip flop last week but cannot receive tracking updates until yesterday. Therefore, I sent an email to follow up it. Unfortunately, their CS just tell me THE ORDER WAS CANCELLED AUTOMATICALLY WITHOUT ANY ISSUE AND NOTICE! Unless I sent this email to ask for, I have no ideas that the order had been cancelled :( Plus, they LOCK MY MEMBERSHIP ACCOUNT WITHOUT ANY REASON and I cannot login to view on the situation with my account.
When I get into their website, I found that THE PRODUCT IS STILL SELLING IN WEBSITE WITHOUT ANY CHANGES! I'm really don't understand what happens to them, have to cancel my order with enough stock :(
1st time order on 12 Jan 2021 and Shopbop cancelled my order without any notice. A week later, I contacted customer service and they said my Amex card didn't go through and locked my account. But at least should send me an email to let me know since my account was locked.
2nd time order, they send me an EMPTY BOX! Thought of any stealing happened in between. Used the scale to measure the weight of empty box + package which perfectly matched with DHL's indicated weight, it means Shopbop sent me empty box!
Contacted Shopbop customer service and required to send back the same item as it's a gift for my sister whose birthday just few days away. Soon they told me, yes they made the mistake and would be "Happy" to refund me. Because they charged me in USD currency, I even have to bear the difference of exchange rate charged by the credit card company.
It's the worst online shopping experience I've had. The customer service asked if I preferred to have refund and my answer was "I'd like to re-deliver the item". But they sent me a refund email right after and said "happy" to refund me. Then why bother to ask if I want to have refund?
I spent time to search for the gift and gave enough time for delivery but ended up with such horrible shopping experience with Shopbop. I would never ordered from Shopbop again. And if you are reading and consider buying gift from Shopbop, re-consider it!
I had ordered clothes for a wedding event, on the basis of it being delivered to me by 30 August 2021, as Shopbop had indicated at the time of check out. However, shipping was not done via DHL or FedEx as per usual, but by another shipping provider called ECMS, which as you'll see from other concurring reviews online, is horribly inefficient. Despite my constant chasers to Shopbop and ECMS, the item arrived many days late, long after my event.
I asked that Shopbop bear the cost of return shipping, given that it was Shopbop that had failed to deliver on its estimated promise of express delivery. Shopbop has refused to do so.
In short, poor service in terms of shipping and even more appalling service recovery. Very disappointing given that I have been a loyal Shopbop customer for more than a decade. Usually items are shipped very promptly by DHL or FedEx, but ECMS is utterly disastrous - hardly any tracking updates, items stuck in transit for the longest time.
I would now certainly not recommend Shopbop to anyone looking to obtain their items within a short time. Their delivery dates at check out are simply unreliable, and their promise of 2-4 days' shipping is evidently a sham.
Poor delivery services in Romania
Poor delivery services in Romania, since they work with DHL which refuses to deliver the parcel without: additional forms, personal info and moreover to pay the transport fee again since the invoice was issued with the total amount (product + fee + duties). I didn't received the parcel and I decided to let it go. It is a shame!
I have purchased 3 pairs of Levi's 501 skinny jeans. Size 24 purchased was exactly same as size 25... but as per Shopbop it is not their problem but the customer's. Instead of helping with the refund and covering the return shipping costs they have claimed that they are not responsible for sizing. But as the jeans are obviously faulty it is the seller who should manege that with the manufacturer instead of client being responsible for unnecessary costs. Super unhelpful.
Not necessarily Shopbop's fault but got sent a shirt that reeked so strongly of perfume and or deodorant as if it had been worn for a day and then returned. Come on people, do better. I'm usually not bothered by smells but this smell turned my stomach so much I was practically hanging over the toilet bowl. If you buy something, DON'T wear it for every day life and then return it.
Purchased Robert Clergerie shoes. Fake. Paid $280AU as indicated but without my knowledge until I looked at my bank statement was charged another $160 for duties taxes etc. what a scam. Will never purchase again.
I usually don't write reviews. I buy several tops, pants and dresses here and everything is just fine. But my friend is very unsatisfied with their return service so I guess they still need to improve it.
My girl loves this site. They do have some fresh threads, but some of it can get expensive. Like, $495 for track pants. Yes, they're cashmere, but who works out in cashmere? But on the flip, there are regular priced clothes as well. So there is a variety to say the least.
Bought a necklace from Shopbop. 14K diamond bla bla bla. Price stated was US$1395 but was slashed to US$411 excluding tax and delivery cost. When the item arrived, I went to check for its value in a pawn/jewellery shop. And I found out its worth only about US$35. UTTERLY DISAPPOINTING!

Worst experience ever. I m definitely going to share it. Got the purchase of the Agolde jeans for my wife in February 2022 and after a month and 3-4 wearings the skin on jeans got burst. We ve called to Shopbop and shared the photos of the crack. We are aware that normally the companies give up to 6 months as guarantee on clothes and 1 as guarantee for shoes. So we expected to get a service or return the item as guaranteed one. The item was not even washed at all and after one month it is not usable anymore. What we ve got as solution from Shopbop is nothing (no return as time passed and no guarantee at all). I ll check for sure if it possible to sell the clothes with no guarantee at all from the legal point of view. I m living in Europe and it s hard even imagine such an attitude to the customer.
Bought an item on the 15th, it's the shipped a week later and it still hasn't moved from the initial place. Slow as hell, wouldn't recommend unless you're shopping for Christmas in Easter.
I purchased a purse for my daughter's birthday. Wanted to be sure she received on time so I had it shipped directly to her. I paid for it to be gift boxed and 2 days after it was delivered I received an email from them that they could not gift box because they didn't have a box to fit it, and they advised they would credit my cc for the fee I paid for the gift box. I replied to the email questioning why they didn't inform me before it shipped. They never replied. Very unhappy that my daughter's birthday present arrived unwrapped. I will not do business with them again!
I'm in the southern hemisphere. I ordered on Friday and the parcel arrived on Sunday from overseas which surprised me. However the pair of pretty sandal I bought has already been worn out after just one summer, sad.

The clothes they sell here are super expensive, and not good looking either. I don't know if they were taken over by another company, but I rarely go on there website to shop anymore. I can never really find anything I like. Also, on a return, they now take longer than usual for a refund. I also don't want to shop. Where they are now supporting organizations I don't support. I believe All Lives Matter! God is the Creator of All lives. The fact there are despicable evil people out here, that commit horrendous crime against a particular race, is not a reason to lump all people together in that category.
I placed an order for a pair of Veja sneakers at Shopbop. The sneakers cost US$120. I entered the promo code provided in the website. The checkout showed that I succeeded in having a 15% off discount. That means I just paid US$102 for the product.
However, I found that US$120 were deducted from my credit card account. I asked the shop to do immediate follow-up and return US$18.00 to my card account.
I have sent six emails to the Customer Service for enquiry, but they have not responded to any of my request. I am extremely disappointed with their lack of response and their service.
